HW220-9 is equipped with a Cummins 6BTAA5.9 high-pressure common rail inline turbocharged diesel engine with a displacement of 5.9L, a rated power of 133kW/2000rpm, and a maximum torque of 708N·m/1500rpm. The powerful power output ensures that the equipment can maintain efficient operation under various working conditions.

Efficient hydraulic system

The hydraulic system adopts a variable double-piston pump design with a maximum working flow of 2×224L/min, which meets the needs of high-intensity continuous operation. The travel circuit pressure is as high as 34.3MPa, the swing circuit pressure is 25.5MPa, and the control circuit pressure is 3.9MPa, which ensures the accuracy and stability of the equipment’s movement.

Excellent excavation capability

The equipment is equipped with a bucket with a capacity of 1.06m³, a width of 1254mm, and 5 teeth to meet the excavation needs of different materials. The bucket digging force is 146kN, the arm digging force is 107kN, and with a 2925mm long arm, it can easily handle heavy-duty tasks.

Reliable walking system

The walking system is driven by a variable piston motor, with 2×46 track shoes, a track width of 600mm, and a ground pressure of only 49.5KPa, which is suitable for soft soil foundation operations. The equipment has two speeds (5.1km/h and 3.1km/h), a traction force of up to 214kN, and a climbing ability of 70% (35°), which can cope with complex terrain.

Flexible slewing system

The slewing system adopts a slant-plate piston motor with a rotation speed of 12.4r/min, and is equipped with a hydraulic brake to ensure the operational flexibility and safety of the equipment in a narrow space.

Strong and durable structural design

The weight of the whole machine is 21200kg, the number of track rollers is 2×7, and the number of drag chain wheels is 2×2. The chassis structure is stable and reliable, and can withstand the impact and wear caused by long-term high-intensity operations.

Large-capacity fuel tank ensures endurance

The fuel tank capacity is 330L, the cooling system capacity is 28L, the engine oil capacity is 2L, the hydraulic oil tank capacity is 250L, and the total capacity of the entire hydraulic system is 400L. The sufficient large-capacity design reduces the frequency of refueling and improves the continuous operation capacity of the equipment.
